Certified Public Accountant, University of the Republic of Uruguay. Master’s degree in Tax Law – Montevideo University (private university). She has developed her professional career in KPMG (20 years) having been Senior Manager of Tax & Legal Department from 2006-2012. She is now the tax partner at Ecovis Uruguay.
During her career, she has advised national and international companies that operate in different commercial, financial, industrial and services sectors in tax issues concerning general tax compliance, tax planning and tax advisory. She has participated in several companies purchasing processes and in M&A.
She has written numerous technical articles that have been published in specialized magazines and has participate as a speaker in international conferences on tax issues.
She is member of the following institutions: Uruguayan Institute of Accountants, Economists and Administrators, Uruguayan Institute of Fiscal Studies and International Fiscal Association.
