Short bio

José has over 30 years of professional experience within three of the four denominated “Big Four” international accounting and auditing Firms, in the areas of Accounting, Auditing, Corporate Governance and Risk Consulting. José has been a university professor for the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) chair, and also a specialist in the International Standards on Auditing (ISA), COSO / ERM. He is responsible for the management, administration and execution of audit and consulting engagements in ECOVIS Panamá.

José holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and specialization in Finance from ULACIT, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Panama. He is a member of the College of Certified Public Accountants of Panama.

He speaks English and Spanish.
