Austrian Forum on Chinese Megatrends welcomes Richard Hoffmann

Tomorrow, Advantage Austria, Austria’s official trade promotion organization, brings together several Chinese business experts from Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Guangzhou to discuss what influence China’s booming economy will have on Austrian businesses. ‘Chinese Megatrends – An Austrian perspective’ will be held in Vienna and will gather over 200 people, which makes it the biggest Austrian forum.

Mr. Richard Hoffmann from ECOVIS BEIJING has the honor to participate in the workshop ‘How to finance your China business: well-known challenges – possible new solution’. He will talk about typical, practical issues companies face when starting an entity in China and how to avoid them, how to get money into China and new ways of bringing funds into China without paying taxes, if and when the requirements for ‘export of services’ are satisfied. Several other interesting workshops, panel discussions and presentations will cover themes such as urbanization, pollution, mobility, the wealthy middle class and rising wages. All these current subjects create both challenges and opportunities for the Austrian businesses.
