Very small companies and SME’s hiring between the 18th of January and the 31st of December 2016 can profit of, under certain conditions, a quarterly prime of 500 euros during the two first contract years (which may rise up to 4 000 euros).

This hiring subsidy for SME’s, which is managed by the French agency for services and payments (ASP), is intended for companies or associations of less than 250 employees hiring an employee, which remuneration is less than or equal to 1,3 times of the guaranteed monthly minimum wage, under the following contractual conditions:

  • Permanent employment contract,
  • Fixed-term contract of 6 months or more,
  • Transformation of a fixed-term employment contract into a permanent employment contract
  • Professional training contract of 6 months or more

The prime can be combined with all of the following:

  • General reduction of low wages
  • Responsibility and solidarity pact
  • CICE (competiveness and employment tax credit)

Each civil quarter, you have to confirm on the website Sylae.asp-public.fr that the hired employed remain hired in the company by filling in a quarterly certificate of attendance. With the first certificate, you have to precise your bank information.

The prime is not managed by your URSSAF and shall not figure in your URSSAF declarations.
You will find enclosed more information on the subsidy for PME’s and the form for requesting the subsidy on the website:
