Karl Bonanno

Karl joined ECOVIS in 2000, after reading for a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree at the University of Malta. In 2006, Karl was appointed an audit partner and took over the responsibility of the audit department.

Karl is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA), holding a practicing certificate in auditing. Karl has over 20 years of experience in the firm’s audit practice and through his extensive knowledge he can understand better business complexities and therefore can add significant value to his clients. Karl services a wide variety of local and international clients operating in various industries including real estate development, pharmaceutical, gaming, retail & distribution, and financial services.

Karl is actively involved in providing assistance in the firm’s global quality review processes and provides support on risk management related matters. He also occupies the role of the MLRO within ECOVIS Malta group.
