The German Centre Beijing is a member Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) Group, who is a member of the Savings Banks Financial Group. The German Centre Beijing which was established as early as 1999, supports small and medium-sized German enterprises in their China endeavor. It currently caters for 93 tenant companies and institutions on nearly 10.000sqm over 19 floors within the centrally located Landmark Towers in the Lufthansa area.

No matter which industry or product, the German Centre often serves as one of the first points of contact for many SMEs from Germany. The German Centre Beijing  has tailored its services especially to the needs of such companies and provides, inter alia,

  • small/ large offices for long-term rental
  • tailored business centre and incubator services including conference room facilities
  • comprehensive consulting services on how to enter and develop on the Chinese market

ECOVIS Beijing made use of its close relations to the German Centre and its accumulation of German machinery companies to conduct expert interviews and informative talks.

The interviews resulted in profound insights into the business of German machinery companies as well as shed light on the latest movements and challenges for such companies on the Chinese market. ECOVIS Beijing would like to express its gratitude to the interviewed companies for participating in the Machinery & Engineering Project.

The main deliverable of the current Machinery & Engineering Project of ECOVIS Beijing will be an industry guide for international SMEs entering the Chinese market or expanding their already existing business in China. The scheduled publish date of the guide will be in mid of September – so stay tuned.
