For our office in München, Christoph-Rapparini-Bogen 27 we are currently seeking a highly-motivated

Technical Manager Audit (m/f/d)

to support the network´s development of the ECOVIS audit approach and ongoing adaption to new international audit standards and other requirements.

This is a position reporting to ECOVIS quality development board (QDB), audit task force (ATF) and management board.

1. Key duties and responsibilities (related to ATF)

  • Work closely and communicate with audit task force and international management board (person who is in charge for audit)
  • Work together with marketing and business development to improve audit proposals
  • Improvement of other assurance and audit services (e.g. fraud investigation, due diligence)
  • create and maintain a database with links of sites to access to international standards related to audit (ISA, IFRS, etc.)
  • Create and maintain ECOVIS  audit guidelines (audit planning, analysis of audit risks, analysis of IT environment, controls)
  • Draft updates for audit instructions, audit IOR checklists and so on
  • Development of material to offer courses and webinars

2. Key duties and responsibilities (related to QDB)

  • Close cooperation with QDB and international management board
  • Further development of ECOVIS International Quality Management System
  • Following up on performed Inter Office Reviews and Self Inspections
  • Support QDB in integration of international technical updates (e.g. IFAC, ISQC)
  • Performance of Inter Office Reviews on site with Ecovis member firms
  • Working together with administrative support

Skills and qualifications

  • Proven experience in auditing (Senior)
  • Interested in theoretical dealing with audit international requirements combined with pragmatism for implementation in practice
  • Professional, self-motivated, strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive working style
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Fluent in English (essential), more languages welcome
  • Willingness to travel as needed and required
