On March 26th, 2020 the Administrative District Court in Latvia in case No.A420241818, where the claimant is represented by ECOVIS CONVENTS, made the decision to request a preliminary ruling to the Court of Justice of the European Union. The questions, set in the case referred the interpretation of powers of the railway regulatory authority and calculation of the fee for the use of public railway infrastructure in the light of Directive 2012/34/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 November 2012 establishing a single European Railway Area.

Thus, in addition to the case C-60/20 this case will be already the second, related to the railway sector, where ECOVIS CONVENTS on behalf of the client has successfully applied with the request for a preliminary ruling to the Court of Justice of the European Union. Furthermore, in addition to the cases C-206/19 and C-743/18, it will be already the fourth case, where ECOVIS CONVENTS will represent the clients before the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Hence the attorneys and lawyers of ECOVIS CONVENTS have attested their theoretical knowledge of the European Union law, by applying it in practice, and by gaining invaluable practical experience in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
