In 2014, the Chinese government decided to implement a comprehensive Social Credit System. In the media the focus has been on the influence this system will have on the private lives of individual citizens. One of the main purposes of the system, however, is a comprehensive rating system for companies – the so-called “Corporate Social Credit System”. For companies operating in China, the topic is more relevant than ever: it is set to be rolled out by 2020 and applies to ALL companies operating in China.

The establishment of the Corporate Social Credit System in China raises several questions:

  • Who collects which data and what is published?
  • Redlist, Blacklist, criteria and scoring systems – how does the system work?
  • Carrot and Stick – What are the specific effects on companies?
  • What should companies do to be prepared?
  • In cooperation with DCW (Deutsch-Chinesische Wirtschaftsvereinigung e.V.) we would like to invite you to inform yourself at one of the events about these questions and to exchange with our experts!

If you would like to participate in this event, please register on the website of the German-Chinese Economic Association (DCW).
