The Federal Government is Preparing 50 Billion in „Solidarity Funds“

The self-employed and small businesses are hit hard by the impact of the corona crisis. It appears that the federal government will be supporting them.

The federal state of Bavaria was first with its „Soforthilfe Corona“ (emergency relief corona) relief programme. The federal government now appears to follow suit.

„Solidarity fund“ to provide relief without red tape

EUR 50 billion to be made available via the fund. The fund will be organised as a federal special asset, able to take on its own debt.

The programme, called „solidarity fund“, was prepared by experts from the German Federal Ministry of Finance and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. It is designed for quick and unbureaucratic disbursement of funds.

We are analysing the measures in detail and will provide you with a comprehensive assessment shortly.
