Yearly tax return for individuals (Switzerland)

Each year persons liable for tax in Switzerland have to complete and submit a tax return for taxes on income and wealth (federal, cantonal, communal and church tax). In most cantons deadline to submit completed tax returns for 2014 to the authorities is March 31, 2015 (in some cantons earlier, in others later). Applications for an extension are usually granted when submitted within the deadline. Don’t wait until the last minute to complete your tax return – if you get it in promptly, you should receive the final assessment sooner and the installments can be calculated more accurately.
